We enter April in the comedown of March 29’s Aries solar eclipse, but for the time being our only recourse is to continue to remain present and receptive. However, there’s a considerable momentum shift this month as Mercury and Venus station direct, and Mars returns to Leo, having spent the first quarter of the year in Cancer! We’ll rediscover our rhythm in the days ahead, even if the rhythm initially feels chaotic. April 12/13’s Sun-Chiron conjunction pokes a vulnerable ego wound, but also sees others looking to you as a role model or teacher. Additional barbs arrive between April 20 and 23/24, when the sun forms a volatile T-square with Mars and Pluto, eeking towards their final opposition on April 26/27. The shorthand: tensions are high and you have one last test to pass. But on the other side, all that restless energy you’ve been sitting on since last fall will finally have an outlet! NOTABLE TRANSITS April 4/5 – Saturn sextile Uranus: discipline meets ingenuity, encouraging adaptation and smart risk-taking (you might already have noticed this aspect at work). April 7/8 – Mercury is direct: course-correcting communication and (fingers crossed?) facilitating necessary apologies. April 12/13 – Venus is direct: allowing us to integrate self-worth lessons learned over the past 40 days. April 16 – Mercury enters Aries: be direct (without being callous). You’ve got places to go and people to see! April 18 – Mars enters Leo: heed passions that went by the wayside at the end of last year. You’ll have more bandwidth for them now. April 19/20 – The sun enters Taurus: pick your priorities and double down. Ground into them. Watch them take root and grow. April 30/May 1 – Venus enters Aries: your heart knows what it TRULY desires, so be honest about it. There will be no rewards for the timid. Written by Nyssa Grazda
