Week ahead transits 31 March - 6 April All times calculated for PST: UTC -07:00. To learn more about converting timezones for your location click here. Sun = Aries 10° 48’ – Aries 17° 42’ Moon = Taurus – Leo The Solar Eclipse energies are simmering and this week the first quarter Moon tempts us with an emotional release fit for a baby emperor. Wit and charm go a long way but when the quarter moon hits, all signs of delicate etiquette seem to disperse into the wind. It may be that what is most needed is the rising rage bait of our inner turmoil, the guttural cries of a failing dream awakens those who are dead asleep. While the quarter Moon in Cancer fascinates us with how quickly we can fall into step when an organized plan is presented, the absolute need to sit down and process out the next six months becomes apparent. As the Sun travels through the second decan of Aries, we meet with the energies of the 3 of Wands now and can start to fit the pieces together of where and how we are to move forward onto the next chapter. On Monday, we are surprised to find a moment of stillness with absolutely no notable lunar or planetary aspects to speak of, an eerie silence rumbles through. Enjoy it! Meditate on it and revel in this fleeting moment when we are at the whim of our own free will to do and feel as we please. The Moon will be in Taurus generating much desired calmness and space to address our physical needs. The following day Venus meets with the North Node and jump-starts a fluttering of potential in love, romance, finance and future-oriented dreams. Mercury also meets with the North Node this week, emphasizing the reintroduction of a fresh start and a new outlook on life. This is the week to build and envision, organize and plan, stack cash and make love. Monday 31st Well this is odd but there are actually no aspects today. The Moon isn’t making any notable aspects to any of the planets today which is quite odd but if you take a look at last week’s transits, Saturday and Sunday were loaded up with the eclipse and Neptune ingressing into Aries. Take today to mellow out and relax the nervous system. Do what feels nourishing and replenishing to the body as the Moon is in Taurus and we are more inclined to want to take it slow since tomorrow is when the Moon kicks up in activity. No notable aspects. Tuesday 1st Moon meets with Uranus today, helping to dislodge any stagnant energy that may be stubbornly lingering around. This would be a good day to start new habits around money and consumption. A change in routine will help to expand our senses and reveal more opportunities. Venus meets with the North Node again in her retrograde motion, which can call in new forms of romance, art and visual expression. How do you want to be loved and what does the ideal version of a romance built for Hollywood look like to you? Dream of the future and conjure up the ideal. Moon sextile Mars, sextile Saturn, conjunct Uranus, sextile Venus rx, sextile NN, sextile Mercury rx, Moon > Gemini at 1:25 pm PST, sextile Neptune, trine Pluto, Venus conjunct NN. Wednesday 2nd A sudden need to get out of the house and connect with other humans kicks in with the Moon in Gemini leaving us feeling a bit claustrophobic and in need of multiple little tasks. The soap box is available and it sure does look appealing when the Moon meets up with the planet of gregarious expansion. We all have opinions but not everyone has good ones, what we share may strike a more harmonious chord if done with wit and a little banter. Taking ourselves too seriously isn’t in the codex for the day but remaining curious and willing to learn is. Moon sextile Sun, conjunct Jupiter Thursday 3rd Now Mercury retrograde makes its pass back over the North Node revealing information that leaves us feeling a bit unsure about how to proceed forward, due to new options. The Moon picks up on the tensions that the Eclipse energies had brought in through multiple square aspects to the stellium in Pisces by generating uncertainty with how to organize oneself. Finding the right words requires a bit of a creative effort. This is a good time to branch out of conditioned thinking to adopt new ways of critique. Moon sextile Chiron, square Saturn, square Venus rx, square NN, square Mercury rx, Moon > Cancer at 3:49 pm PST, square Neptune, Mercury rx conjunct NN. Friday 4th The first quarter square in Cancer after the New Moon in Eclipse pops in today. This one is motivating directed action towards standing up and pushing through. The proverbial bootstraps, as they call it, get laced up and it’s time to get to work. A lot of political change can come today through collective efforts that are organized and poignant. It feels important to align with a cause and to take up arms, whether that looks like putting pen to paper, sending emails, making calls or even just having difficult conversations with loved ones and family members to make alliances. Mars sextile Uranus and so does Saturn offering good outcomes for all efforts put forth. Moon square Sun, Saturn sextile Uranus, Mars sextile Uranus, trine Saturn. Saturday 5th Moon enters Leo after meeting up with the Pisces cluster along with Mars, shifting gears with where the attention is to be focused. When the Moon is in Leo the attention tends to focus on the self and how the self is behaving or showing up for those around us. Leo Moon is a warm and friendly time when we prefer to cater to those who are in our inner circle and expect the same in return. Less likely to hold things in as we were the last couple of days when the Moon was in Cancer, if there is something that we feel, oh it will be heard. Spend the day with those who accept you for all that you are. Moon square Chiron, sextile Uranus, trine Saturn, conjunct Mars, trine Venus rx, trine Mercury rx, trine NN, Moon > Leo at 9:34 pm PST, trine Neptune. Sunday 6th The throes of lust and desire take hold with Mars and Venus making eyes at one another from across the room. It’s time to make a move and put your heart on the line. Take bold steps to attain what it is that you desire, the Sun sextile Jupiter is helping to boost our confidence and push through indifference. Moon opposite Pluto is begging for us to let go of insecurities regarding past behaviors that made us cringe. A mini purge is in order – whether it is tossing old clothes that don’t fit who you are now or a state of mind that prevents from experiencing new types of relationships and people. Moon opposite Pluto, Sun sextile Jupiter, Mars trine Venus rx. *Keywords: Voc = Void of Course Moon, NN = North Node, SN = South Node, rx = retrograde Written by Evelyn Zuel
